SOUTHBRIDGE: Honorine \"Laurie\" (Gravel) Miner, 96, of Therese Ave. died Friday, April 4th at Radius Healthcare after a short illness. Her husband Herbert Miner died in 1978 her daughter Eunice Dimetri died in 1998 and a grandson David Dimetri died in 1993. She leaves granddaughter Cheryl Belanger of Sarasota, FL. 3 great grandchildren Paul Dimetri, Bryan Dimetri, Matthew Dimetri, and two great great grandchildren, Kaylee Dimetri and Emma Dimetri.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Lionel Gravel, Germaine Boerner, Elizabeth Servant, Charles Gravel, and Harold Gravel.
She was born in Winchendon the daughter of Victor and Christine (Dupis) Gravel and lived in the area most of her life.
Mrs. Miner was a member of Sacred Heart parish. She retired from the American Optical Co. after 40 years of service. She did volunteer work at Harrington Memorial Hospital. She was an avid baseball fan.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 10th from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge with a Mass at 11:00AM in Sacred Heart Church, Charlton St. Southbridge. A calling will be held at 9:30 to 10:30 in the funeral home prior to the Mass.
