Hector Gonzalez

SOUTHBRIDGE:  Hector Gonzalez, 82, of Coombs Street passed away after an illness on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in Brookside Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

Hector is survived by his wife Angelica Marrero; his step-son: Luis Andino of Southbridge; his step-daughter Graciela Andino of Puerto Rico; his brother: Ruben Gonzalez and his sister Jaunatta Gonzalez, both of New York; and four grandchildren.

Hector was born on September 8, 1934 in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, the son of Cecilio Gonzalez and Geronima Diaz. 

Hector lived in Puerto Rico until ten years ago, when he moved to Southbridge.  He was a supervisor for General Electric in Puerto Rico where he worked for forty years until retirement. 

A funeral service for Hector will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Oak Ridge Avenue (off of Everett Street), Southbridge, MA.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home.
