Gloria Wilson

SOUTHBRIDGE: Gloria J. (Asselin) Wilson, 68, of Poplar St. died, Friday, March 4th after a courageous 12 month battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She leaves her husband of 49 years Roy Wilson, 2 sons Bruce Wilson and his wife Theresa of Las Vegas, NV, Bryan Wilson and his wife Donna of Southbridge a sister Pricilla Lavalley of Attlebrough, 2 grandchildren Joshua and Melissa and a cousin Betty Selvestri of Old Saybook, CT.  

She was born in Southbridge, the daughter of the late O'Niel and Ida (DuPaul) Asselin and lived in the area all her life.

Gloria graduated from Mary E. Wells High School. She was the bookkeeper and treasurer for Flood’s Automotive in Southbridge. She enjoyed boating in Long Island Sound with husband and spending time with her family.

  Her funeral Mass will be held at11:30AM Thursday, March 10th , in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St. Southbridge. Burial will be in New Notre Dame Cemetery, Woodstock Rd. Calling hours are 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
