SOUTHBRIDGE: Gloria M. Nater Santos 75, of 45 DuPaul St. died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Harrington Hospital after being stricken ill at home. Her husband Benjamin Santos Sr. died in 2011. She leaves 2 sons Benjamin Santos Jr. of Southbridge, Daniel Santos of Southbridge, 2 daughters, Adelyn Santos of Saugus, MA. Miriam Santos of Southbridge, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Pedro Nater. She was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Pedro and Elena (Quiles) Nater and lived in Southbridge for many years. She and her husband were the former owners of the Spanish-American Grocery Market on Hamilton Street in Southbridge. She enjoyed watching soap operas and listening to Spanish music but most of all she enjoyed her family. Calling hours are 5 to 7PM Thursday, May 4, in Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial and funeral service will be held in Puerto Rico later this week.
