FISKDALE: Gladys (Coon) Boudreau, 88, formerly of Cedar Street died Monday, February 20, 2017 in Southbridge Rehabilitation Center after an illness.
Gladys was born on October 15, 1928. Gladys was employed at American Optical Company until her retirement in 1986.
Gladys is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-five years, Joseph Boudreau Jr.; her sister: Faith Turner of Santa Cruz, CA; her sister in law: Barbara M. Boudreau of Three Rivers; her niece: Cheryl Soper of Three Rivers; her nephew Brian Boudreau of Pittsfield; her great nieces and nephews: Tricia Poulin, Matthew Soper, Brian Boudreau Jr., Kyle Boudreau, Austin Boudreau and several other great-great nieces and nephews.
Gladys was an avid reader, gardener and birdwatcher who enjoyed traveling with her husband, Joe.
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, February 27th at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, 84 Chapin Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Light refreshments to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials, or donations, etc., the family asks friends and relatives to visit her beloved husband, Joseph Boudreau at Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, 84 Chapin Street, Southbridge, MA 01550 on the fourth floor, Room 403, for this will be the first-time Joseph has been alone in sixty-five years and your time would be a blessing to him.
