CHARLTON: Gertrude (Reynolds) Miller, 91, of J. Hammond Rd. died Tuesday, October 21, at her daughter's home, where she was cared for by all her children. Her husband Warren Miller died in 2005.
She leaves her son Thomas W. Miller and his companion Susan Maynard of Charlton; 3 daughters Julie Manny and her husband Richard of Sturbridge, Carol Hill Of Charlton, Sandra Sullivan and her husband William of Thompson, CT; 3 brothers Emerson "Bud" Reynolds of Webster, Myron Reynolds of Charlton, Warren Reynolds of Brookfield; 3 sisters Barbara Zajac of Quinebaug, CT. Shirley Bromley of Hebron, CT. Marion Reynolds of Charlton; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Helen Brewer.
Born in Charlton she was the daughter of Lewis and Lena (Jaskoviak) Reynolds and lived in the area all her life.
She was a member of the Federated Church of Charlton and sang in the church's choir.
She was a bookkeeper at Dresser Hill Dairy for 30 years and at one time she worked at the American Optical Co.
Mrs. Miller was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the circumstances.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 11:00AM in the Federated Church of Charlton, 64 Main St. Charlton, MA Calling hours are 4:00 PM to 6:00PM, Friday, Oct. 24, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA.
