STURBRIDGE: Gerald J. Fournier, 55, of 142 Main St. died Thursday, Oct. 2, in his home after being stricken ill.
He leaves three sons Jewin Fournier, Adam Fournier, Abraham Fournier all of Southbridge, his mother Therese (Vallee) Fournier of Southbridge, 2 brothers Charles Fournier of Southbridge, Ronald Fournier of Oklahoma, 4 sisters Louise Leighton of NC, Patricia Fournier of Southbridge, Linda Julien of Spencer, Fay Hunnewell of Fla, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was born in Southbridge the son of the late Armand Fournier and Therese (Vallee) Fournier, and lived in the area all his life.
Gerald graduated from Bay Path Vocational High School in 1977 and played soccer for all four years.
He coached soccer for the town league. He was an avid bowler and earned a 300 ring. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, biking, sports and motorcycles.
He was a machinist at Fabrico in Charlton.
A private service was held in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home.
