SOUTHBRIDGE - George Leonard Vilandre, 54, of Oakes Ave., died Wednesday, October 4th. He leaves two sons, Travis and his wife Nicole Vilandre of Southbridge; and Jake Vilandre, of Wales; his mother Doris Dupuis of Vero Beach, FL; his aunt Claire Moriarty, of Southbridge; his companion, Maria Mangual and her family of Dudley; four brothers, Edward Vilandre of W. Palm Beach, FL, Michael Vilandre of Sturbridge, Donald Vilandre of San Antonio, TX, and Joseph Vilandre of Vero Beach, FL; three sisters, Leona Thibeault, of Southbridge, Jean Handy, of FL, and Cecile Corriveau, of Charlton; many nieces and nephews; and all his friends and co-workers at Harrington Memorial Hospital. He worked for Harrington Memorial Hospital since 1989. He was a Navy SeaBee. He loved his boys, nature, cooking and eating, fishing and making people laugh. He was in the last graduating class of Cole Trade High School, Southbridge. His funeral will be held at 8:30 am Tuesday, October 10th from Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St, followed by a Mass at 9:30 am in Sacred Heart Church, Charlton St. Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery.
