Southbridge/ Naples Fl; George Hebert, 49, formerly of Southbridge, died Wednesday, May 10th at home after being stricken ill. He leaves two brothers Len Hebert of East Brookfield, Thomas Hebert of Southbridge, a sister Alice Cove of Thailand formerly of Uxbridge, and several nephews and nieces. A brother James Hebert died in 1990. He was born in Southbridge the son of the late J. Lionel and Agnes (Fletcher) Hebert. He graduated from Pittsford High School in New York where he played for the school' s golf team. He was junior champion at Cohasse Country Club in Southbridge.
While living in Florida he gave private golf lessons was inventory subcontractor specialist and did part time landscaping.
Calling hours are 9:00 to 10:00 AM Thursday, May 18th, in Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge with a Mass following at 11:00AM in St. John the Baptist Church in East Brookfield.
