CHARLTON: George J. Fournier of 15 City Depot Rd. Charlton died peacefully at home on Aug. 29th. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Helen (Nichols) Fournier and their children; Theresa wife of Jean Lefebvre of Woodstock, CT, Tommy Fournier and his wife Chris of Dudley, Judy wife of John Grudzien of Sturbridge, Joe Fournier of Charlton and Mary wife of Christopher Kiser of Olive Hill, KY. He was predeceased by his first wife, Germaine (Langlois) Fournier. He leaves their children Germaine Lemieux of Sturbridge, George Fournier and his wife Monique of Brimfield, Janet wife of Joseph Julian of Quinebaug, CT and Francis Fournier and his wife Janet of Austin, TX.
He leaves a sister, Janet Alix, of Webster. He also leaves 25 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was born in Webster, MA, a son of Olivier and Emma (Langlois) Fournier. He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 8 sisters.
A funeral mass will be held Wed., Sept. 5th at l0:00 AM in St. Joseph\'s Church, H. Putnam Rd. Charlton. Burial will follow in St. Mary\'s Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours will be held on Tues., Sept. 4th from 5:00-8:00 PM at Belanger-Bullard FH, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge. An online guestbook is available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com
