Fernande " Fern" (Jolicoeur) Lefebvre, 81
Southbridge/Charlton; Fernande " Fern" (Jolicoeur) Lefebvre, 81, formerly of Southbridge, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, in the Masonic Nursing Home, after an illness.
She leaves a daughter, Rachel Marchisin and her husband Andrew of Panama City, FL; two sons, Marc of Worcester, MA; Jean of Woodstock, CT and his wife Theresa. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Nicole and Matthew Lefebvre, a sister, Therese Asselin and her husband Andre of Hyannis, a brother, Arthur Jolicoeur of Southbridge and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard who died in 1994, a brother, Rosaire Jolicoeur and a sister, Rita Ravenelle.
Born on July 7, 1924, in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec daughter of Joseph and Anna (Lemoine) Jolicoeur and moved to Southbridge at the age of 18 where she went to work at the American Optical.
She enjoyed flea marketing, yard sales and playing cards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who were the joy of her life.
Her funeral will be held at 9:00 am Saturday, March 4th from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge followed with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St. Calling hours are 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday March 3rd in the funeral home.
