CHARLTON: Eunice (Sherman) Burlingame, 84, of Old Mugget Hill Rd. died Thursday, Jan. 17 after an illness. Her husband Russell Burlingame died in 2001. She leaves two sons Harold L Burlingame of Dudley, Robert A. Burlingame of Holland, a daughter Nancy Leveille of Suffield, CT. a brother Earl Sherman Jr. of Hope Valley, R.I. a sister Betty Lou Gardner of Matunock Beach, R.I. five grandchildren Tammy, Sheila, Jessica, Jennifer, John â??Michael and several nephews and nieces. A son Russell â??Butchâ? Burlingame died in 1998.
She was born in Shannock, R.I. the daughter of the late Earl and Eunice (Piper) Sherman and moved to Charlton in 1946.
Mrs. Burlingame retired from the Charlton Public School cafeteria in 1996 after 24 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, bus trips and crossword puzzles.
