Emile Richard, Jr.

SOUTHBRIDGE - Emile L. Richard, Jr., 74, of Hamilton St., died Thursday, Oct 28, at UMASS Memorial. He leaves his wife, Charlene J. (Lynch) Richard; a son, David S. Richard, and his wife, Lisa, of Pomfret, CT; a granddaughter, Samantha Richard; father-in-law, John Lynch, of Sturbridge; sister-in-law and her husband, Peg and Leo Cote, Jr., of Charlton; a cousin, Lorraine Martel, of Southbridge; and several nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother, Lucien Richard, and two sisters, Theresa Sansoucy and Emma Rose.

Emile was born in Southbridge, the son of the late Emile Sr. and Theresa (Larochelle) Richard and lived here all his life.

He graduated from Cole Trade High School in Southbridge. He retired from Notre Dame Church where he worked for 42 years.

He was a member of Notre Dame Parish and the NRA.

A graveside service was held in Notre Dame Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:00AM Saturday, Nov. 27, in Notre Dame Church 443 Main St. Southbridge, Ma.
