SOUTHBRIDGE: Ellen (Bashaw) Hebert, 60, of Main Street died on Tuesday, February 14th in Harrington Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Ellen was born on July 30, 1956 in Malone, NY to Abraham and Joan (Bissnette) Bashaw.
Ellen is survived by her husband of thirty-six years: Lester Hebert III; her mother: Joan Bashaw of Southbridge; two sons: Henry Scott Augusto of Southbridge Richard Augusto and his wife Vicki, of Southbridge; her daughter, Michelle Burlingame of Douglas; three brothers: Joseph Bashaw of NY, Gerard Bashaw and his wife Joan of Pittsfield and Abraham Jr. and his wife Lynn of Southbridge; three sisters: Debbie Parish and her husband Ken of Deenamora, NY, Susan Luukko and her husband Lauri of Spencer and Joan Morin and her husband Bob of West Brookfield, her mother-in-law Patricia Talbot of Sturbidge.
After graduating from Southbridge High School, Ellen worked as a CNA at Quaboag Nursing Home, then did private duty nursing for 10 years and then worked Radius Nursing Home now Southbridge Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Ellen enjoyed collecting dolls and Wizard of Oz memorabilia.
Calling hours are Sunday, Feb. 19 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on TUESDAY, February 21st at 10:00 A.M. in Notre Dame Church of the St. John Paul II Parishes, 446 Main St. Southbridge.
There will be no service on Monday.
