HOLLAND-AUBURN: Elizabeth (Miller) Beal-Littlefield, 99, of Brimfield Rd. Holland, died Saturday, Feb. 9, at Lifecare Healthcare of Auburn. Her husband Herbert Littlefield died in 1996, her first husband Lyle Beal died in 1952. She leaves two sons Donald Beal of Holland and Howard Beal of Suffield, CT. a grandson Craig Beal of Watertown. She was predeceased by two sisters Mary Thorndike and Helen Ranlett.
Mrs. Littlefield graduated from Mt. Holyoke College in 1929 and she earned her Masters Degree in Library Science at Simmons College in 1931.
She was the Librarian at Manchester Library in Manchester, NH. Waban Library and LaSalle Jr. College Library. She was a member of the United Parish of Auburndale and attended Holland Congregational Church. She was a Literacy Volunteer and was a member of the Womenâ??s Club at the United Parish of Auburndale.
Her funeral service will be held at 8:00PM Tuesday, Feb. 12 in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial will be in Mt. Caesar Cemetery in Swanzy, NH. Calling hours are 6:00PM to 8:00PM before the service.
