CHARLTON: Edna Mae (Porter) Ide, 77, of Sturbridge Rd. died on Sunday, Oct. 28, at Harrington Memorial Hospital. Her husband Harvey Ide died in 1991. She was the loving mother of two sons Wayne â??Samâ? Ide, Brian Ide both of Charlton, and nine daughters Susan Clifford of Denver, Co. Nancy Demers of Webster, Linda McCrea of Shorewood, Ill. Debra Bryant of Caribou, ME, Joyce Hegge of Alamogordo, NM, Diane Bonder of Lantana, TX. Gayle Stevens of Mountain Home, Id. Lorna Ide, and Renae Plotczyk both of Charlton. She took great pride in her 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She leaves her brother Alexander Porter of Alexandria,VA. her sister Josephine Ide of Charlton and was predeceased by her sister Rosemary Saad.
Her funeral will be held at 10:00AM Friday, Nov. 2, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Charlton. Calling hours are 5:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, Nov. 1, in the funeral home.
