DUDLEY – Edmond Gregoire, 84, long-time resident of Florida and Dudley, died suddenly on Monday, April 11. His wife, Helen (Szydlowski) Gregoire, predeceased him in 1996. He leaves one son, David Gregoire, and his wife, Linda, of Oxford; three daughters: Jacqueline Malone, and her husband Michael, of Dudley; Elaine Wronski, and her husband, Stanley, of Sturbridge; and Debora Fitton, and her husband Al of Millbury; two brothers, Richard Gregoire, of Grafton and Leo Gregoire, of Holland and was predeceased by 2 brothers, Arsene and Raymond. In addition, he leaves 8 grandchildren Rob Malone, KristenMalone, Kerry Malone, Kathryn Wronski, Kim Wronski, Ashley Gregoire, Matthew Gregoire, Timothy Gregoire, and 3 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and long-time friend, Joan Dumouchel, of Dudley.
He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Arsene and Marion (Riel) Gregoire. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He worked for Thom McAn in Worcester. He enjoyed polka dancing, playing golf and cribbage.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, April 18, in St. Anne’s Church, Church St., Fiskdale. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Richards Ave., Paxton. There are no calling hours. The Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
