HOLLAND: Edgar A. Dunnell, 69, of Long Hill Rd, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He leaves his loving and devoted wife of 27 years, Lynn (Perreault) Dunnell, his children Crystal Longe and her husband Bill of Brimfield, April Cookson and her husband Keith of Maine, Justin Dunnell of Sturbridge, Kristen Torres and her husband Eddie or Sturbridge, Jeremy Bell of Fort Benning, Georgia, and Ryan Dunnell of Maine. He also leaves a brother Robert Dunnell of Missouri, a sister Pat Dunnell of Maine, twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was born in Portland, Maine, the son of Edgar A. Sr. and Evelyn (Duck) Dunnell, and graduated from South Portland High School in Maine. Edgar retired from the Pratt-Whitney United Technologies Company in Connecticut. After retirement, he worked for the Home Depot in Auburn as an appliance consultant. He was a member and Deacon of Friendship Baptist Church in Brimfield. He enjoyed serving the church and its ministries. His memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 16, 2014, in Holland Congregational Church, Sturbridge Rd, Holland, MA. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church, 9 East Brimfield Holland Rd, Brimfield, MA 01010.
