Dorothy (Hollman) Langevin

MONSON: Dorothy (Hollman) Langevin passed away at home on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

She was born to Robert Hollman and Marjorie (Lister) Hollman on December 12, 1946 in Auburn, New York. She graduated from Baldwinsville High School in Baldwinsville NY in 1964. She held a variety of jobs in Huntsville AL and in the Springfield MA area, including truck driving for Hood. For the last 30 years before her retirement, she was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service. She was married to Norman Langevin from 1986 until his death in 2002.

We remember Dottie (as her friends and family knew her) for her fearlessness and inexhaustible energy, and her good cheer, and as someone who was always caring, fun and exciting to be with. As a young adult, she participated in stock car racing at various tracks in southern New England. A great lover of animals, she kept horses, dogs and cats for most of her life.

She is survived by her sister Beverly Hoekstra, her brother Richard Hollman and her niece Sarah Brunson, and Norman Langevin’s children Norman Langevin Jr., Marianna Mullen, Susan Keiffer and Annette Lewis.

Funeral services were private.

Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge directed arrangements.
