BRIMFIELD: Debra A. (Bertrand) Lavallee, 62, of Brimfield, died August 26, 2022 from being struck by an automobile in Sturbridge.
Debra leaves behind her longtime companion Brian Tryba, two sons Craig Packard of Nashua, NH, and Neil Packard and his wife Melissa of Clayton, NC., her mother Juliette (Courtemanche) Bertrand of Brimfield with whom she lived, her grandchildren Dylan Packard, Aaron Packard, Jarrod Davenport, Ethan Davenport, Cody Senical and Connor Barbour, and her beloved cats Smokey, Andy, and Gladys.
Debra was born in Southbridge, daughter to the late Wilfred Bertrand Jr. and lived in the area most of her life.
She received her Associates degree in Photography from Quinsigamond Community College. Deb was working as a QA Inspector at G&F Industries for 30 years. She held a Class A CDL license and formerly drove school bus for the deaf. She also formally had her own ceramic studio where she enjoyed teaching.
Debra enjoyed traveling, horses, fishing and the wilderness. She liked attending Pow-Wows and her passion was photography. Her favorite music artist was Janis Joplin. Deb had a big heart and would help a lot of people and expect nothing in return.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday September 1, 2022 from 5-7PM at the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA 01550. A funeral service will follow at 7PM in the funeral home.
