David Hart, 81 longtime resident of Spencer passed away peacefully on Friday August 9, 2024, at home. He was married to the love of his life Diana (Gagne) Hart for 61 years. He leaves his sons David Hart of Dudley, Kevin Hart of Southbridge, Joel Hart and His wife Michelle of Spencer and was predeceased by his son Todd Hart, 1986; His 6 grandchildren Paige (Hart) Gustafson of Charlton, Collin Hart of Sturbridge, Camden Hart and his wife Carissa along with his first great grandchild Emberly of Spencer, Brandon Hart and Isa Mediavilla of Spencer, David of North Carolina and Briana Brown and her sons, Dwayne, Trae, and Avery of Worcester. He leaves his twin brother Donald Hart and his wife Peggy of Iowa and was predeceased by his father was Clarence Hart and his mother was Eva, and by his Stepmother May (Andrews) Hart. Also, his siblings Clarence Hart, Robert Hart and Doris (Hart) Grout. He also leaves many nieces, cousins, nephews, and friends including Danielle, Jared, Don, Bill, and Breeze. He graduated from David Prouty High School and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Flexcon after 32 years and loved coaching little league baseball, fishing, watching the Red Sox, Patriots and Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed reading the Bible everyday and sharing the Lord’s word. David was a kind man, a true gentleman whose family meant everything to him. His loss will be felt deeply, but it brings solace knowing he is with God. Special thanks to all of his caregivers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holland Church, Saint Jude, or the Wounded Warriors. Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing arrangements.
