Woodstock Valley, Ct. Daniel J. Stanton, 60, of Rt. 198, died Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Harrington Memorial Hospital after being stricken ill at home. He leaves his wife Janet (Rogers) Stanton, 2 sons Jason Z. Stanton of Woodstock, Joshua Z. Stanton of Newport Center, VT. a daughter Amanda Powers of Worcester, his mother Betty (Mowen) Stanton of Cranston, RI a sister Carolyn Cherry of Warwick, RI a grandson Zackary Stanton. He was born in Providence son to he late Daniel Stanton and lived in the area many years.
He was a US Marine serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the Jehovahâ??s Witness Congregation West in Southbridge. He enjoyed traveling and reading.
A service will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, Feb. 2nd in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, Ma. An online guestbook and complete obituary are available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com
