SOUTBRIDGE: Daniel McDonald, 45, of Elm St. died Saturday, March 24, at UMASS University Campus. He leaves 2 sons Devin McDonald of Sturbridge, Kasey Jones of Southbridge, a daughter Alyssa McDonald of Southbridge, a brother David McDonald and his wife Debra of Brookfield, his sisters Kathryn Martiros and her husband Michael of Leicester, Karen Tremblay and her husband Dennis of Dudley, his former wife with whom he remained friends with April (Corriveau) McDonald of Sturbridge, nephews and nieces James, Matthew, Erica, Stephanie, Jillian, Jessica and his step-father Gabe LaFleche of Southbridge and his extended family at Hyde Tools.
He was born in Southbridge the son of the late Daniel A. McDonald Sr and Gloria (Renaud) McDonald-LeFleche and lived in the area all his life.
He graduated from Southbridge High School in 1984.
Dan was a team coordinator at Hyde Tools where he worked for over 25 years.
He was an avid fisherman, Red Sox and Patriots fan but most of all he enjoyed his children.
The family would like to thank UMASS and the New England Organ Bank for their kindness and support during a trying time in his family’s life.
Dan’s calling hours are 4:00PM to 7:00PM, Friday, March 30, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. A service will take place at 7:15PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
