HOLLAND: Daniel E. LaFleur, 61, of 27 Dug Hill Rd. died Friday, May 6, in his home after an illness. He leaves his wife of 35 years, Joanne (Panaccione) LaFleur; a son Daniel P. LaFleur and his wife Christine Veshi of Southbridge; 3 daughters, Kimberly Whitford and her husband John of Waterford, PA; Jennifer Bruinsma and her husband Anthony of Wales; Amanda LaFleur of Charlton; his mother Yvette (Durocher) Gengreau of Fiskdale; his sister Madeline Rainville and her husband Steven of Holland, 7 grandchildren Zachary Robertson; Samuel Robertson; Orie LaFleur; Robbie; Nicholas; Nathan Weaver; Madison Whitford, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Orie and Loretta Panaccione of Ludlow, brother in-law and sister-in-law David and Diane Panaccione of Brimfield, nephews and nieces Rebecca, Jorge Jr., Jessica, Angela,& Anthony.
He was born in Springfield, the son of the Yvette LaFleur and the late Albert LaFleur and lived in Holland many years.
He graduated from Chicopee High School class of 1968.
Dan was currently working for Howlett Lumber in Holland and was employed there for the past 28 years.
At one time he belonged to the Musicians Union of Springfield and played at many concerts and symphonies.
Music was his passion and he enjoyed fishing and oil painting.
At his request there are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, May 16th, in Holland Cemetery.
