Dan Cummings

CHARLTON: Dan G. Cummings, 74, of New Spencer Rd. Charlton, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Life Care Center of Auburn. He leaves his wife of 51 years, Frances (Rassega) Cummings, a son Mark D. and his wife Lisa Cummings of Charlton, two daughters Ginger L. Cummings of Ayer, Gina M. Cummings of No. Grosvenordale, Ct. a brother Richard Cummings of Charlton, two sisters Judith Crowley and Mary Jane Gillespie both of Charlton, nine grandchildren, Renee, Jarrod, Nicholas, Bridget, Tara, Danielle, Dan, Matthew, Casandra, five great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son, Michael A. Cummings who died in 1994, a brother Donald Cummings and two sisters Audrey Hill and Lois Foskett.
Dan graduated from Charlton High School and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated Tandem Construction Co. and was a heavy equipment operator for Umbro Const. Co. After his retirement he worked part time at CAP in Southbridge. He was past president of the Beagle Club in Charlton. He enjoyed gardening, reading and fishing.
Calling hours are 5PM to 8PM Friday, Dec. 15th in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
His funeral will be held at TEN AM, Saturday, Dec. 16th in funeral home.
