WARREN: Clifford Armitage, 82, of Brimfield Rd. died Wednesday, Feb. 18 at home after an illness. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Alberta (Croteau) Armitage, a son Bradley Armitage and his companion Lillian of Ware, two daughters Terry Pidgeon and her husband Michael of Manchester, NH, Margaret Willard and her husband Gary of Ware, a brother John Armitage of Onalaska, WA, 8 grandchildren Vickie Vennert, Daniel Vennert, Charles Flower III, Sara Ledford, Catherine Flower, Holly Armitage, Michaela Armitage, Jeremy Griswold, 5 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
He was born in Belchertown the son of John and Zella (Pratt) Armitage and lived in the area many years. He was a WWII Navy Veteran.
He owned and operated C&B Machine Shop for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
