OXFORD: Clayton J. “Bud” Sinclair, Jr. 55, of 82 Fort Hill Rd, died Friday, June 28, 2013, in his home surrounded by those he loved, after a long term battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He leaves his beloved wife of 35 years, Rosie (Gustafson) Sinclair; two loving daughters, Patricia Sinclair and her wife LeeAnn, of Ithaca, NY., and Steffanie West and her husband Dennis, of Oxford; his mother, Lillian Sinclair, of Oxford; a brother, William Sinclair of Charlton; two sisters, Ann Marie Diamantis, of Oxford, and Cheryl McIntyre, of Sutton; two grandchildren, Phoenix and Kadence; his God-daughter, Christina Bedard, of Oxford, and God-son, Scott Witkowski, of Shrewsbury; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who loved him. He is predeceased by his father, Clayton Sinclair Sr., who died in May.
Bud attended North High School in Worcester. He owned and operated B&R Automotive on Franklin Street in Worcester for many years, and also worked as a shop foreman for Morris Auto Radiator, also in Worcester. He retired in 2012 due to illness, bravely dealing with the difficulties associated with his lung disease.
Above all else, Bud enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He took great pride in coaching his daughters in softball when they were younger, riding motorcycles, bowling, and fishing.
