OXFORD: Clayton J Sinclair Sr. 78, of Main St, died Monday, May 13, 2013, in his home after an illness. He leaves his wife of 56 years Lillian (Kardokas) Sinclair. Four children Clayton J. Sinclair Jr. and RoseMarie of Worcester, Ann Marie Diamantis and her husband Christos of Oxford, Cheryl McIntyre and her husband Michael of Sutton, William Sinclair and his wife Christine of Charlton, Eleven grandchildren and Twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Clayton and Grace (Brackett) Sinclair and his sisters Barbara Sinclair and Anna Sinclair
Living in Worcester for most of his life he retired as an Oxford resident.
He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in both the US Air Force and the United States Army.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years with Angelo Scola Construction Co. also driving cross country for Global Van Lines. He owned several automotive repair shops. He was a member of the Auburn Elks and enjoyed woodcrafts and traveling.
Calling hours are Thursday May 16, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA. Burial will be in Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery in Agawam at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 24, 2013.
