SOUTHBRIDGE: Claude "Dick" Tucker, 75, of Columbus Ave. died Wednesday evening, May 30, in his home after an illness. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Mildred (Albrecht) Tucker, a son Richard Tucker of Southbridge, 2 daughters Stephanie Daniels of Plainfield, CT, Lisa Forlino of Danielson, CT, a sister Mildred Olinger of Fairfax, VA, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Claude was born in Southbridge, the son of the late Claude Sr. and Yvonne (Denault) Tucker and lived in the area all his life. He retired in 2011, from Southbridge High School where he worked in the kitchen; he also worked at Flexcon for 14 years and Howard Johnson Restaurants Co, where he worked for 45 years. Dick was a US Marine and served in Korea. He was a member of the Full Gospel Center. Calling hours are 5:00PM to 7:00PM, Monday June 4, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. A Service will be held at 7:00PM in the funeral home.
