Cindy Lee LaPlante

Southbridge: Cindy Lee (Loranger) LaPlante, 65, passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2025, after a brief illness at her home in Southbridge, MA.

Cindy is survived by her beloved daughter, Kara Earnest, and her cherished granddaughter, Kylee Trifone. She is also remembered by her brother, Mitch Loranger of Dudley, and her sister, Deb Hemunski, residing in Florida.

Born on May 26th, 1959, Cindy was the daughter of the late Donald and Theresa (Racicot) Loranger. Raised in Southbridge, she remained a devoted member of her community and an active participant at the Notre Dame church. For many years, Cindy operated a daycare center, where she nurtured and cared for countless children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

Cindy had a passion for puzzles and was known for her daily crossword challenges. She loved to unwind by watching her favorite game shows and was a devoted fan of Grey's Anatomy. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Spring burial will take place in Sgt. George Cemetery at a time to be announced.

Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, located at 51 Marcy St., Southbridge, will be handling the arrangements.
