Cheryl Macuga

June 21, 1946 — January 7, 2016

SOUTHBRIDGE: Cheryl A. (Proulx) Macuga, 69, died Thursday, January 7, 2015 in Harrington Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

Cheryl was born June 21, 1946 in Southbridge, the daughter of Henry A. Proulx and Dorothy M. (Beck) Proulx.

She is survived by two sons: Jonathan and Jimmy Macuga, both of Southbridge; a daughter: Laurie Ballou of Danielson, CT; a grandson, Francis Blanchard III of Virginia; a great-granddaughter, Cheryl’s “special angel,” Kylie Joy Blanchard of Virginia; her sister and caregiver, Madeline Cournoyer of Southbridge; cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cheryl worked at the Southbridge Nursing Home for many years.

There will be no calling hours and services will be private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
