Charlotte \"Mary\" Stone

SOUTHBRIDGE:  Charlotte Marion (Smith) Stone, Mary Stone (Gram), 92, passed away Sunday, July 2^nd after an illness. She leaves three sons:  Arthur Smith and his wife Carol of Lakeland, FL, Shawn Severns his life-long friend, Aida Alicia and John Severns, both of Southbridge; four daughters: Bonnie Gaumond and her husband Paul of Southbridge, Ramona Severns of Sturbridge, Zinabeth Morin and her husband Eric of Southbridge and Cheryl Stone of Everette, WA; a step-daughter Theresa Caderatte of Southbridge; a step-son Joseph Gauthier of Charlton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her previous husbands: Marcel FR Severns, Romeo Gauthier and Clarence W. Stone.  She was predeceased by a son Joseph A. Smith, two daughters: Thelma Louis Smith and Marcella M. (Severns) Houle. Charlotte was born in Burlington, VT, the daughter of Marion L. Smith. She moved to Massachusetts in 1947 and lived here most of her life. Mary (Charlotte) worked for many years at a variety of jobs and retired many years ago.  Mary loved singing, wrestling, dancing, reading and having a beer.  She also loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the FOE 334 for many years. The family would like to thank Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Hospice Center and Hospice of Western and Central Mass. for her care. A private service will be held in Vermont where Mary’s family will bring her back home to her place of rest.
