Charlotte Barrett

STURBRIDGE: Charlotte (Dodson) Barrett, 84, of Douty Rd. died, Sept, 24 at E. Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center. Her husband Walter Barrett died in 1999. She leaves two daughters Susan Vertefeville of Palmer, and Debra Gardiner and her husband Gary of Sturbridge; three grandchildren Katie, Aaron, Seth and two great granddaughters Ryan and Marley.

She was born in Haverhill the daughter of George and Deasy May (Schonfeld) Dodson and lived here many years.

At one time she taught Sunday School at the Sturbridge Federated Church.

Mrs. Barrett was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a Rainbow Girl advisor.

She enjoyed farming, her home and her family.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00PM, on Thursday, October 1^st, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.

A private graveside service will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Springfield, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
