Charles Blood

DUDLEY: Charles P. Blood, 68, of Sunrise Florida, died on February 13, 2005 in Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale, after a long illness. Mr. Blood lived in West Dudley, Mass. as a child and attended Cole Trade High School in Southbridge. He joined the Air Force in January of 1955. He served four years in the Air Force and came out and joined the Army. He became a part of the 82nd Airborn Artillery. He served three tours in Vietnam. After retiring he served 16 years as a Counselor at Levenworth, Kansas and two years for the Broward Sheriff Department. He leaves a sister, Vivian Jackson of Sturbridge, Mass., a brother Claude Gaudette of Sunrise, Fla., three aunts, Diane Cournoyer of Northboro Mass., Noemi O'Neill of Springfield, Mass., and Jean Reidel of Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. He had many nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no calling hours. Burial was private. A memorial guest book is avaialble on line at belangerfuneralhome.com
