Cecilia "Penny" Christian

Cecilia â??Pennyâ? B. (Frechette) Christian, 88, formerly of Fiske Hill RD., died Thursday, February 15, at Oakwood Nursing and Rehab in Webster. Her husband Alfred Christian died in 1993.
She leaves a son Robert Christian of Sturbridge, five daughters Lucille St.Laurent of Semonile, Fl.; Sandra Mozdzierz Orlando, Fl.; Christine Walker of Southbridge, Louise Julian of Durham, NC.; Catherine Christian of Southbridge, a brother Arthur Frechette of Ledyard, Ct.; two sisters Rita Westwell of Sturbridge, Aura Petzold- of Jenson Beach, Fl.; thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.
She was a member of St. Maryâ??s parish in Southbridge.
Mrs. Christian retired from Ames Dept. Store where she worked for many years at the jewelry counter and worked for the Publick House in the bakery store.
Her funeral will be held at 9:000AM Tuesday, Feb. 20th from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge followed with a Mass at 10:00AM in St. Maryâ??s Church, Hamilton St. Southbridge. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours are 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday, Feb. 19th in the funeral home.
