SOUTHBRIDGE: Carole L. Beausoleil, 68, of North Woodstock Rd. died Friday, April 21, after being stricken ill.
She leaves her husband of 36 years Robert Beausoleil, 2 sons Jesse Nadeau of Dudley, and Matthew Beausoleil of Southbridge. A brother Gerald Nadeau of Holland, 3 sisters Elaine Langlois of Southbridge, Vivian Skowron of Brimfeild, and Joanne White of Holland. 2 grandchildren Jude R. Nadeau, Olivia J. Nadeau and many nephews and nieces that she held close to her heart.
Born in Eagle Lake, Maine she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Jeanne (Cote) Nadeau.
Carole was a talented Apple Head Doll designer. She owned and operated Carole's Doll Doings and sold her creations throughout the world. She belonged to various doll and artist creative associations. Halloween was one of her favorite times of the year from designing many costumes and entering the Scarecrow contest at the Publick House in Sturbridge. Not your typical grandmother, she was care free and young spirited, she was creative, she was Meme.
She graduated from Southbridge High School in 1968. At one time, she was a waitress at the Flat Iron, and Dickens Chickens.
