Betty Martin

BOYLSTON:  Betty Lou (Peppler) Hershey- Martin, 90, of School St, Boylston, died Thursday, May 23, at Worcester Rehab and Healthcare Center. Her first husband Herbert Hershey died in 1994. She was also predeceased by her second husband Albert Martin.  She leaves 2 daughters Cheryl Cleveland of West Brookfield, and Marie Hershey of Boylston a brother Neil Peppler of York, PA and a sister Joyce Patterson of York ,PA, 9 grandchildren , 25 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Karen Briggs and a brother Peppler.  Betty worked for the Belchertown State School for many years, She also owned and operated Maple Crest Market in Brookfield for many years.  She was a member of Adams Square Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and served many meals for different functions at the church.  Her funeral service will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, June 4th in the Adams Square Baptist Church, 266b Lincoln St. Worcester, MA.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601
