Wales: Bernice C. (Butler) Sedlak, 95, of Royce Lane, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024.
Born in Warwick, she was the cherished daughter of Norman and Clara (LaMountain) Butler. Bernice graduated from Mary E. Wells High School and dedicated many years of her professional life to A & Tool and Design Services. In the 1980s, she found great joy in owning and operating a bread store in Fair Plaza, Southbridge.
Bernice leaves behind her beloved daughter, Diane Morel, and son-in-law, Dennis of Warren. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Martha Holmes and Elizabeth Blair, and two great-grandchildren, Ariana and Eleanor. She was predeceased by her brother, Norman Butler, and her two sisters, Joyce Choinski and Barbara Bumpus.
In her leisure time, Bernice enjoyed reading and challenging herself with crossword puzzles.
A graveside service to honor her life will take place at 11 AM at North Cemetery, Maple Street, Sturbridge. The arrangements are being handled by Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, located at 51 Marcy St., Southbridge.
