Southbridge - Benjamin Santos Garcia, Sr., 70, of Dupaul St., died May, 9. He leaves his wife of 49 years, Gloria (Nater) Garcia; two sons, Benjamin Santos, Jr., of Puerto Rico and Daniel, of Southbridge; two daughters, Adelyn Santos, of Saugus and Miriam Santos, of Southbridge; three brothers, his twin, Pedro Garcia, of Brooklyn, NY, Santiago Santos, of Puerto Rico, and Escolastica Santos, of Puerto Rico; a sister, Lydia Santos, of Florida; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He and his wife owned and operated the Spanish American Market in Southbridge for 36 years.
He was a NY Mets fan and enjoyed reading the Daily News.
Calling hours are Thursday 6 to 9 Pm in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
A funeral service will be held Friday May 13 at 10AM in the funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
