Arthur Hayes

Uxbridge/Charlton : Arthur F. Hayes, 91, of Masonic Home Rd. formerly of Uxbridge, died Thursday May 19, in the Overlook Masonic Health Center. He leaves his wife of sixty eight years Mary (Anas) Hayes a daughter Alexia D. wife of Michael J. Shea of Hubbardston; a son Manny Hayes of Uxbridge; a sister Vera Sequin of Worcester; six grandchildren, Barry Hayes, Jessica Keesan, Timothy Hayes, Andrew Barron, Nicholas Barron, Daniel Barron; three great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a daughter Chrystine Hayes who died in 1993 and a sister Ruth Wheeler. He retired in 1980 from Hale Mfg. Co. in Putnam and previously worked for Cyril Johnson Woolen Mill in Stafford Spring, Ct. After his retirement he was a consultant in North American for the textile industry. He was a member of the Solomon' s Temple Lodge of Masons in Uxbridge. A funeral service will be held at ELEVEN AM Tuesday May 24, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge with a calling hour from TEN to ELEVEN prior to the service.
