Union Ct. On April 27th Armand F. Grenier of Union, Ct. was called safely home.
He leaves behind his wife, companion and friend Mable Whyte-Grenier, his daughter Gail McDonell of Holyoke, Ma., three sister-in- laws Mary Grenier of Holyoke, Lucielle Grenier of Chicopee, and Victoria Grenier of NY., four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren one great granddaughter and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by a son Lawrence F. Grenier of Chicopee three sisters Bella Maning, Stella Schwichart, Rosemand Grenier, and six brothers Raymond, Norman, Donald, Lawrence, Earl, and Ernest.
He was born in So. Hadley the son of Felix and Rose (Vallencourt) Grenier lived in Union Ct, for several years and Southbridge many years. He was a WWII Army veteran. He retired from the Southbridge Public School System where he worked in the maintenance department. Previously he was a construction bricklayer in Worcester.
His funeral will be held at 9:00AM, Wednesday, May3rd from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, followed with a Mass at 10:00 AM in ST. Anne' s Church, Church St. (off of Rt. 20), Fiskdale section of Sturbridge. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Calling hours are 5:00 PM to 8:00PM Tuesday May 2nd in the funeral home.
