Her husband George Wright died in 2011. She leaves two sons Craig Brazell of Grafton and his wife Cindy and Brendan Pursel of Dudley,MA and his fiancee, Donna; a brother: William Brosnahan of Buffalo, NY; two grandchildren: Kaitlin and Kyle Brazell; a step-daughter Tammy Normandin and her husband Ron of Oxford, MA; two step-grandchildren: Brandon and Tyler Normandin; four nieces: Gail Fanning, Jill Arsenault, Anne-Laura Slubowski, and Mary Wachter and one nephew: Paul Brosnahan. She was predeceased by two sons: Jay Brazell in 1955 and Timothy Brazell in 2000, a sister Mary Fanning and a niece Lisa Cummings.
Born in Worcester she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Fell) Brosnahan.
Ann graduated from Commerce High School and earned a B.A. and Masters' Degree in education from Worcester State University.She taught English for the Worcester school system for many years. Later in life she moved to Cumberland, RI where she owned Walker's Jewelry with her husband George for over 30 years. Nancy enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed all her experiences living in NC, GA, CA, MA and RI.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Hardy and the nurses and staff at Summit Healthcare for the excellent care, friendship and compassion given to Nancy.
Calling hours will be held from 9-10 A.M. on Saturday, August 1 in St. Joseph's Church,10 H. Putnam Road, Charlton, MA with a funeral mass to follow at 10 A.M.Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
