SOUTHBRIDGE: Anita (Fournier) Jodion, 95, formerly of 60 Charlton Street, died Saturday, November 10, at Southbridge Healthcare Center.
Her husband Maurice Jodion died in 2005.
She leaves her sister Alice Ravenell of Southbridge, two brothers Rene Fournier of southbridge, Robert Fournier of Agawam, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Armand Fournier, Roland Fournier, Alfred Fournier, Henry Fournier, Theodore Fournier, Raymond Fournier, Joseph Emile, Fournier, Edward Fournier, and sisters Adeline Ballard and Mary Blanchette.
Anita was born in Southbridge the daughter of John and Aldea (Castonguay) Fournier and lived here all her life.
She retired form JP Manufacturing in Southbridge and at one time she worked for the American Optical.
She was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed sewing crocheting and always had a taste for Butterfinger candy bars.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 16, from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge followed with a Mass of Christian burial at NOON in Notre Dame Church, part of the St. Paul II Parishes, 446 Main Street Southbridge. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Woodstock road, Southbridge.
A calling hour will be from 10:30 to 11:30 in the funeral home prior to the Mass.
