STURBRIDGE: Anita C. (Gosselin) Desautels, 80, of Colonial Dr. died Sunday, Feb. 17, at home. She leaves her husband of 61 years Attorney Clement T. Desautels; her 4 children Daniel T. Desautels of Natick; Diane C. Desautels of Sturbridge; Donna R. Desautels of Spencer, Denise S. Daniels of Windsor, CT. Anita was born in Wolcott, VT, the daughter of Clodomir J and Aurore M. (Roy) Gosselin and lived in the area many years. She graduated from Putnam Catholic Academy and attended St. Joseph College. She was a member of St. Anne’s St. Patrick’s parish in Fiskdale. She was a member of the Harrington Hospital Auxiliary, and was a hospital volunteer for many years. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Her Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, March 2, in St. Anne’s Church, 16 Church St. Fiskdale section of Sturbridge. There are no calling hours. Private entombment will be at Norte Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Monastery of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 4103 VT.
