Angel Vazquez

SOUTHBRIDGE:  Angel M. Vazquez, 71, of Taft St. died Thursday evening, Sept 5, at home.

He leaves his wife Orietta (Pujols) Vazquez, brothers Benito Vazquez and Jose Vazquez, sisters Theresa Vazquez, Georginia Vazquez, Norma Vazquez, Marie Elene Vazquez, Margarita Vazquez, and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Baymon, Puerto Rico the son of the late Pablo and Cecilia (Rodriguez) Vazquez and lived in Camden, New Jersey before moving to Southbridge.

 He retired from Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ.

He was a member of the Church of God in Southbridge. He enjoyed the Red Sox, music and collecting baseball cards.

 His calling hours are Monday, Sept. 9 in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.

  A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, Sept 10 in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
