Southbridge-Amy Louise (Marona) Adamson (39) of Southbridge Massachusetts passed away peacefully on October 15, 2020 in her home with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
She leaves behind her husband Brian Adamson of Southbridge, her son Alex Mwangi of Worcester, and her father Steven Marona also from Worcester. She also leaves her brother Erik and his wife Jennifer Marona of Worcester, and her two sisters, Lori and her husband Pastor William Webb of Palmer, and Joanna and her husband Matthew Wright of Worcester. Her nephews Mathew Donham, and Benjamin Wright, and her nieces Jillian Donham, Amanda and her husband Mariusz Dworak, and Mia Wright. She also leaves several great nieces and nephews, friends and cousins behind.
Amy was born in Worcester Massachusetts, the daughter of Steven and the late Donna (Johnson) Marona.
She worked for many years as a personal care attendant and home health aide and was a true care giver.
Her son Alex was always her pride and joy. She loved to cook, enjoyed the beach, and spending time with her family whenever she could. Her laugh was contagious, and she was one of the kindest and most generous souls you could ever meet. Even through her brave battle with cancer, she remained positive and never wanted anyone to worry about her. Amy was also a member of New Birth Christian Church.
The calling hours will be held on Friday October 23rd at New Birth Christian Church, 4025 Church Street, Thorndike Ma 01079 from 4pm to 5:30pm, with her funeral service immediately following.
