EAST BROOKFIELD: Allen W. Evaschuk, 40 of East Main St East Brookfield, died at home, Sunday February 25th after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
He leaves his mother and caregiver Kim Michelle Lavergne Black and her partner Todd Hammond, his sister Sarah Ashley and her fiancé Robert Marcioni and nephew Jamison Allen Marcioni, his father Wade A. Evaschuk, his Grandfather Frederick “Rick” Lavergne, Great uncle and aunt Steve and Judith Lavergne, aunts and uncles John and Karen Lavergne, Holley and Scott Tremblay, Laurie and Steve Rahter, Scott and Lisa Evaschuk, Ernie and Sherry Evaschuk, cousins Alyssa and Shawna Tremblay, Nicholas and Cassie Evaschuk, Jess and Julie Rather,the Michalak family and his beloved dog Cleo.
Allen was a journeyman iron worker building skyscrapers in Las Vegas and New York City until MS attacked his body which forced him to end his career. His mother cared for him until the time of his death. Allen had a heart of gold and loved his family and friends dearly. He was an avid NY Giants fan and loved animals and the outdoors.
His funeral will be held at 11AM Saturday March 2nd in the Belanger-Bullard Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA.
Calling hours are from 9 to 11am before the funeral service.
