UXBRIDGE: Alfred M. Sweck Sr. 88, of Hazel St. more affectionately known as "Pep" to family and neighborhood aqaintances passed away on January 9th, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 64 years, Lillian E. (Morrissette) Sweck died Aug. 20, 2005. He leaves three daughters Pauline Beaulieu of Norman,OK; Deborah Bernard and her husband Donald of Uxbridge; Ann Marie Belanger and her husband Michael of Uxbridge; a daughter-in-law Paula Sweck of Northbridge; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. His son Alfred M. Sweck Jr. died Oct. 1, 2008. He was born in Bellingham the son of Michael and Domicelia (Wyspianski) Sweck and lived in the area all his life.
Mr. Sweck was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a supervisor for the Felters Co. in Millbury where he worked for many years.
He had several hobbies such as gardening, which he succeeded at very well, western movies, boxing, tinkering, listening to polkas, and being at the ready when anyone would summon their need for help, but his greatest hobby was being a father and grandfather to a family which he loved so greatly.
His funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, Jan. 13th in St. Mary's
Church, Mendon St. Uxbridge. There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St.
Worcester, Ma. 01608. Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing
arrangements.
