Adrien Pouliot

SOUTHBRIDGE: Adrien “Pete” Pouliot, 95, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Katherine (Milczewski) Pouliot, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Pete leaves a son, Rodney Pouliot, and his wife, Jeanne, of Ashford, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Nicole Spruill, Peter Pouliot, and Suzanne Pouliot; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pete was born in Webster, Massachusetts, the son of Gaudias and Alice (Daigle) Pouliot. He served in the Navy during World War II on the S.S. Wasatch. Pete then went on to be a Southbridge Firefighter for 24 years until he retired in 1971. After retirement, Pete worked part-time at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, and enjoyed playing golf.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 2 at 9:00am from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St, with Mass at 10:00am in St. Hedwig’s Church, Everett Street, Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.
